Well I'm sending my Xbox 360 to germany for service or replacement. After the dvd tray refused to close yesterday. Everytime i tried to close it it just opened again automaticly. So I called the support and they told me to send it to germany. So right now I'm sitting here waiting for the UPS man/woman to take my baby away. And then two-three weeks without and xbox 360. And I had just gotten into secret of monkey island and battlefield 1943, and they didn't even need dvds...

Mine's just gone RROD on me for the second time

3 months out of the 3 year warranty. I wonder if MS will replace it again for me.
But I was thinking that maybe it's a marketting trick, as the new whisper xbox is due in the next few days. </ponders xbox conspiracy theory>

I ordered a new one, I was going to upgrade anyway, but isn't it funny how I've had 2 RROD now, both just outside warranty period.
But to be fair, MS replaced the last one, so they may replace this one as well, and I haven't done too bad, considerring I had one of the very first batch as I owned a cybercafe at the time.

...keep in mind the thing is always connected to the internet ... as soon as Skynet decides it is time for you to get a new one, it can command your xbox to rebel against your will... be glad it has not decided to spit DVD's on you!

Ive never connected mine to the net, i only play online with my PC.....thats time consuming enough!
