Anyone had ps3 issues today?

Just wondering If anyone else here had issues with there ps3 today.
I've read reports of firmware issues when the ps3 goes form Feb 28 to march 1st. Some how that made the ps3 go weird.
Apparently ps3 slim is unaffected by this.

TBH my ps3 is not that much on. I get a game for it every now and then that are ps3 exclusive. Play em then go back to my 360. Or just use the Blu ray on it. Don't care about my ps3 trophies either. But I got Heavy rain in the mail today.
Ordered it the same time pre ordered Bad company 2 for the 360. But now due to the issues PS3 have today. It won't even start.

I can't play any of my downloaded games. None of em work. Most of my themes are broken. All my trophies are gone "not that I care much about that on ps3" Most games won't start. And I just got Halo Legends on Blu ray. And he won't play it. In fact none of my Blu ray movies work.... won't even spin the disk. And he constantly wants to update to 1.21 but that is old.
And the date is 31/12/1999 on my ps3. Even if I change it. It still goes back.

GT5 prologue works fine. And Haze. None of my other ps3 games work. Got Gundam up on the games menu so at least the disk did spin. But he refuses to start it.

Just wondering if anyone else had turned there ps3 on today and gotten the same issues.

Reports have it even though you are not connected to your wired or wireless network when you turn it on you will still have these issues since apparently its date related. Some ppl call it the PS3 2K10

So no heavy rain today *sigh* I was kinda looking forward to that *goes back to his 360*

Yeah, a local TV station does a localised game show here. They reported last night that PSN was acting up and that particularly, Heavy Rain was in trouble.

It might be the same thing you're talking about. Heard it would be sorted ASAP though.

Well it kinda works today. Blu ray movies works fine. I still get an error when I try to connect to PSN.
Most games do work. And he is no longer in 1999.

Some local game sites did say that it sorted it self out when the dates passed to the 2nd.
Not much word form sony if this will happen again. Not sure if I've lost any data atm.
Did just fire it up to see my new blu ray movie and it worked fine today. Heavy rain still wont start for me

So back to Starcraft 2 Beta today then
