Dragon Age Epilogue Shares *SPOILERS*

Postby Laex » Sat Jan 02, 2010 7:03 am

I've put a spoiler warning here, so obviously, if you've not played it...don't read any of this. I definitely don't want to ruin anything, and there's no spoilers in my post, just want to ask something.
Ok, so I'm saying anything about the ending, but want to know what reveals people got at the ends of their playthroughs if you finished. My first playthrough - Dwarf Male Noble.

For my second playthrough, I want to try build the optimal ending, a happily lives after for everyone. Obviously with such dark fantasy, it seems unlikely, but thus this thread: want to compile as much info as I can about the endings, and then subvert the whole thing by getting everyone to live happily ever after! Mwaahaha, victory for happiness (this is also why I don't watch sad movies, I tend to cry too much) - I must have happy ending at all costs!

So what did you guys get?
I went for having the child with Morgana and vowing to track her down with my elf mage. Played on PC, loved it. Waiting till it's about 20 pounds on 360 then will play it again as a human noble rogue.

Played it through with a male fighter, the main story parts I got were:-
Refused to have anything to do with Morgana and instead went with the Bard woman. Didnt have the kid to save my life at the end boss but instead sacrificed myself, saving the king below who was protecting the gates.

I was laid to rest as a hero
the king (the fighter guy) became a good king (but hated all the duties he had to do) but was loved by the people.
Morgana went missing as she had promised and was spotted here and there.
The bard woman never got over losing me and "vanished" in the end, its thought her beliefs allowed her to rejoin her loved one and be together again.
The big guy went on to be promoted to commander (or somesuch) when he got back to his lands.
The golem went wandering and not much was known about him.
Cant remember what the dwarf done
The Assassin I killed earlier in the game when he double crossed me
I think I pretty much cracked the "good" endings? There are some parts that you cant do much with tho like the Dwarves.
I got pretty similar, except I decided to let Morrigan have the baby, so I became Alistair's chancellor, and I fobbed him off on Anora and they ruled well together.

I was a dwarf so I became a paragon and was restored to House Aeducan and Bhelen made a good king, though he was tyrannical. If you chose the other guy he dies in civil war.

All my endings were happy, except for that guy who wanted to start a chantry in Orzammar, he ended up badly :P
played as an elf mage:
Had the child with morigan to save my own skin, she disappeared but will be seen again,
the golem went to fight darkspawn in the tunnels,
managed the romance options with the bard and assassin as well as morigan (player)
Harrowmont was a weak ruler and it all went to civil war and in fighting and the chantry in orzamar started a riot
the mages circle was set free from the chantry
made logain a grey warden and alastair went off in a huff
the dward became a general in the army
anora becomes queen and rules well but oppresses elves (booo)
the dalish have a good life getting on well with everyone

not a bad game but just lacked that extra special something to make it a true Baldurs gate successor...
