Sony to shutdown 12 SWG server

I logged in! Forgot my account details on Whit and Ishra but Whityyk the Wookiee saved the day.

Aartan Ridge is a pretty desolate place these days!

Although I was glad to see Tel's Museum is still open for business

Hi, i logged on too and indeed Aartan ridge is completely demolished except for Tel's museum. I was happily surprised to see whit had logged in recently but then checking this board i saw that it was only for a testing :(

Anyway a lot seems to have changed in SWG. At the moment, i'm having fun with the city invasion (yay things for crafters and entertainers to do) but no clue how long the fun will last.

No idea if you still remember me. i used to play dofe (small human tailor/id )and bahija (no idea what she used to be i think a smuggler, turned her into an entertainer now)

Anyway *waves*

I remember you, Dofe. Hope you remember me.

I don't think I'll be back in SWG again but currently playing Star Trek Online for my space fix. I still have a buddy key to claim - so if you want to try out STO send me a pm here - or email me at admin@vexationaudio.com

Dofeeeee!!! :D

I played quite a bit last year, but then cancelled my account after having it running constantly since I first joined.
AR finally dropped off the map, I tried as long as I could to keep it up but finally had to give in as the desert and the devs purged it..
I then moved all my houses east of town to gain a bit of control as I lost it to Aya and he didn't log in for quite some time, soon after that I finally succombed and canceled my account to continue Lotro.

I have a feeling I could revisit some time though, feels odd not having the option to log in these days even though for a long time when I could, I never found the time.

Hi Dofe! Great to see you again :D

Hope you'll be up for more Star Wars MMORPGness with the upcoming The Old Republic, we need to rebuild AR (in a timeframe before it existed... which is a bit of a paradox).

Well i remember you all :) It was all of you that made SWG a great game for me :) that and the setting obviously . Don't want to get too mushy :p

well with the possible exception of laex's hotpants... those were scary  (btw dofee still has the clothing crafting tools you made her)

Anyway have been back in SWG for only a week now, and am quite surprised at how much has changed, yet it is so familiar. Only thing that's sad is seeing most of my friends list in grey :(

Maybe you all should just log on in SWG again ;)

The city is mostly gone, with the exception of some odd houses scrambled around of which i guess a lot of them are ki's.

Also, who on earth gave dofee the title 'Belgian' in AR :p

Your post confuses me Jim :P. Is it a reference, or can you truly not remember?

I remember so many people from our group, I guess delving into the AR forums for that failed Oblivion project I hope to do merely helped reinforce what I could remember. I have very fond memories of the Fyfe Syndicate and ARMED having that tenuous relationship, the ARMED uniform was the dog's. Part of me worries we won't be able to do stuff like that in TOR, but then again, it's going to be a very different experience.

Ah, I remember the day I crashed a spaceship into Talon's Cantina:

Then the Imps came to investigate

So I legged it with Ki, Talon and Orix (I think)

Unfortunately, we let Talon drive...

I should dig out my pics of Rouf the Entertainer in his hawtpants some time...

Im looking at the date and time.
Im guessing Ms Stella Artois was probably involved in a test of how many names I could remember off the top of my head.
